One Day We Won't Have To

Aaron, Claresa, and the team are doing the last week of Kid's camp this week. At the end of the service today they sang a worship song called "Satisfied" by Josh Hiers. The last words say I don't ever want to leave, One day I won't have to. It is about being in the presence of the Lord and not wanting to leave. One day we won't have to. Have you ever been with someone you love and you just enjoy their company and spending time with them so much that you don't want to leave or you don't want the day to end? I feel that way about Tommy and Aaron and Claresa. I love being with them. I love spending time with them. I hope you feel that way about your family as well. But the more they mean to you, the closer you are, the stronger your relationship, the more you want to be with them. It is the same when we build our relationship with God and we grow closer to Him, we learn more about Him, we are strengthened by our relationship and time together. The more this happens, the more we want to be with him. We love to bask in His presence and we get so caught up that we don't want to leave, and guess what? One day we won't have to. Isn't that an exciting thought, that one day we will be in the presence of the kings of kings and we won't have to leave to go home because we will already be home. When we are in His presence here on this earth, we are just practicing for the day when we will worship and praise Him forever and WE WON'T EVER HAVE TO LEAVE.
