Here it is! The picture I told you I would get for you to see. In case you missed the blog it was about the popsicle stick trucks my brother, Dennis, used to make. We were looking at these while we were taking the pictures and realized these are probably over 40 years old.
Like I said before, the popsicle sticks were very hard and unbendable without breaking them. He had to soak the popsicle sticks in water to get them pliable enough to mold them into what he wanted it to be. The same is true with us. We are hardened by sin and difficulties, but if we allow God to saturate us in the water of the Word and the power of His Holy Spirit, we will become pliable in His hands. He can mold us and make us into what He desires for us to be. And as we live each day to please Him, He will keep us. There were things Dennis had to go back and fix but then they were just like new. Same with us we are a work in progress and God keeps us looking like new after He works on areas of our lives that need to be more like Him.
We are a work in progress now during this 40 days with Jesus. We are yielding ourselves to Him as He helps us to be remolded and remodeled to look more like Him. Keep up the good work even during this weekend. It is hard, but we can do it. Eat some and then take a walk. Try to what your desserts and carbs, but don't deprive yourself of it all or you might overindulge at some point.
So thankful for the holidays and time with family. Enjoyed playing Batchi Ball with the Fowler clan in Pace today. I want to wish you and your family a very Happy Easter.
