When you stop to think about it, we should be like John the Baptist. We should be spending our days telling people to repent and get ready for the coming of Christ. He will baptize them in the Holy Ghost now, but there will come a day when He will appear in the clouds to take those who are looking for Him home.
John wasn't concerned with the latest fashions and being the one upfront. His main concern was to do what God had sent him to do. He was created for this very purpose and he fulfilled his calling. We too must be faithful to fulfill the calling that God has placed upon our lives, do what we were created to do, and focus on eternal things and not material.
SOOOOO, bring on the locust and wild honey and let's get busy telling those around us that Jesus is coming!
