Who Do You Say I Am?

I have been listening for the last few weeks to my favorite preacher (Tommy Moore) preach on the Jesus Church. In the scriptures he reads about where Jesus asks His disciples, who do men say I am? And they give him some examples and then He asks them, who do YOU say I am?

That is a question I think we all need to ask ourselves. Who do YOU say He is? Do you say He is your Savior, but don't let Him be your Lord and Master? Do you say He is your Peace but you spend your days worrying over things you can't control? Do you say He is your Healer, but you struggle each day with sickness?

Many times we say things with our lips, but don't believe it in our hearts and display it in our lives. We have to live out what we say. I want people to believe me when I say, He is my everything. He is my First Love, He is my peace, my provider, my hope, my sustainer, my Father, my Saviour, my comforter, my way maker, my light, my bread, my water when I am thirsty, my deliverer, my victor, my shepherd, and anything else I need Him to be.

I want to live in His presence each day that when people see my life they see Him. I am simply a reflection of His love for them. When someone asks me who do I say He is I want to be able to tell them and mean it. And when Jesus looks at me I want Him to already know without having to ask me, because we walk and talk each day about it.
