Every Life Is Beautiful

Well, it has been an exciting day today. One of the highlights of the day was to go to a movie preview of the movie, "October Baby". This is the story of a young lady who finds out she was adopted, but that is not all. She also finds out she is the survivor of an abortion. It takes you on the journey with her as she finds hope, forgiveness, and love. It is a powerful portrayal of a topic we don't hear much about in today's world. The actress that plays her real birth mother actually had an abortion and it was during this movie that she received her healing and the forgiveness she needed to be able to go on with her life. She gives her testimony on the October Baby website at http://octoberbabymovie.net/

It is so important that we remember those that the devil has ravaged their lives and caused them to be blinded to the reality that what the world calls tissue is really a divine creation of God. The Bible says He knew us before we were formed in the womb. But by the grace of God you and I could have been a statistic. We must be sure not to condemn those who have had an abortion, but to pray for them, love them, and help them to find the healing and forgiveness they need from a loving Heavenly Father.

I pray this movie will help us as Christians to rise up once again and take a stand against the many murders that are taking place across this country. May our hearts break once again when we hear of the clinics that are performing such procedures and may we partner with the agencies who are trying to give guidance and counsel to young ladies in crisis.

Isn't it such an awesome thought to think the God who created the universe and put the stars in the heavens, naming each one, also created you and I with our own uniquenesses and He knows us by name as well. He knows the number of hairs on our heads and even what our original color is supposed to be. He created us to be who we are, not anyone else and it is time we begin to stand secure in that fact and be who He created us to be. Quit letting Satan tell you that you don't matter, that you were an accident, that you will never amount to anything, that you aren't as talented or as pretty as someone else. Instead let's look once again in the mirror and say to ourselves, Self, you are a child of the King, a royal princess and your name is written in the palm of your Father's hand. Then open the back door of your house and kick the devil out and quit letting him come in.

This movie comes out March 23rd. I would encourage all of you to go and see it. Take church groups, make it a family outing, whatever you have to do to see it. The more people that go on opening weekend, the better it is. Hollywood is starting to notice that we want more family films, but we have to do our part to show them. So, sister Princess, may we be reassured again in the fact that EVERY LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL, including yours!
